History
The group was set up in March 2006 and had four members and no base. Today the group consists of up to 35 members and regularly meets at Darwen Resource Centre and they also meet at Darwen Community Centre every two weeks on Saturdays.
The organisation was created to try and meet the needs of asylum seekers and refugees new to Blackburn and has a particular focus on those from Africa.
To enable a socially inclusive service we provide people with information in a language they can understand to remove as many barriers as possible.
